Hi I'm Rockin' Rick Santagato,
Welcome to our Albany Motorsports home page.
This year I will be driving our # 67 Monte Carlo Challenger for the full series at Kawartha Speedway on Friday nights, Selected nights at Mosport Speedway as well as various special Saturday events at Sunset, Sauble, Barrie and Peterborough Speedway.
In 2000 we had a strong year finishing 2 nd overall in points at Kawartha and 4 th overall at Mosport. However 2001 turned out to be a disappointing year as we missed several nights due to some mechanical breakdowns, other commitments ( two of my sons were married in 2001 - bad planning on their part ) and finally on Friday August 24 th a blown motor at Kawartha put an early end to or season
But that was last year !
In 2002 we'll be ready to go with a rebuilt chassis and a brand new power plant under the hood which should make us top contender in the CHALLENGER division throughout the season.
We'll keep our web site updated with our weekly finishes, racing highlights and pictures as the season progresses.
